TRAINLINE is an interactive, touch-based route mapping system that dynamically adjusts to user inputs, facilitating efficient access to relevant and desired travel information. Its customizable features enable users to tailor the interface to their preferences, allowing passengers to search for routes, trains, and stops in a manner that suits their individual needs. Furthermore, TRAINLINE integrates the functionality of a ticket vending system, enabling users to purchase tickets directly via the map interface and seamlessly download them to their mobile devices.

The system is designed to be accessible on demand and at the press of a button, either on touch-enabled screens within train carriages or at terminals located on station platforms. This ensures intuitive usability, providing passengers with convenient and immediate access to essential travel tools.

TRAINLINE was submitted to the Hessen Design Award 2019, where it achieved recognition by being shortlisted, underscoring its innovative approach and design excellence.
